India, mysterious, a land of extremes.
Busy, busy.... BUSY!!
But for an ICT training, very cheap.

Highlights

The course itself is a highlight. The town Shimla is very beautiful. The trip to the Taj Mahal is unforgetable.

Been there

7th November till 12th December 2008.

For training to India

Vacantion, no not realy. Hard work, yes indeed. The ICT is booming in India. All the big computer companies bring their internal ICT business to India. Even for an ICT education India is the place to be. The quality is high, the cost is low. Since 1993 Koenig Solutions provides ICT education in India. Different courses in variable education speeds. One of them is the Super Fast Track, called Bootcamp. One on One with a teacher to take the course. Very intensive, hopefully with a good result.

The big places

  • New Delhi, the capital of India. The city is located in the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Together with the city of Delhi and some smaller cities it is an urban area. In India Old Delhi and New Delhi are just called Delhi. The New Delhi municipality has a total of 294,783 inhabitants (2001).
  •

  • Shimla, in the British time spelled as Simla, is the capital of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. Shimla had in the colonial era role of the summer capital of British India. The city is located in the southern foothills of the Himalaya Mountains, the Siwaliks. It is a popular tourist destination for both Indian and foreign tourists.

The country India

No other country in the world is more fascinating, versatile and impressive than India. The centuries-old culture is visible in magnificent temple complexes, palaces and forts. Buddhism and Hinduism play an important role in the street. Religious festivities with colorful parades are always taking place somewhere and holy cities like Varanasi are steeped in mysticism. India is a country with an abundance of nature, culture, people, history, suffering, monuments, festivals, life and death. A first time traveller must prepare well, because it is, both mentally, physically and organizationally not an easy country to get around. (bron: shoestring.nl)

Culture

India is one of the poorest and most densely populated countries in the world. But it is also a country where living, cultural traditions, which find their origin in a past in which we in Europe were still living in caves. Now, at the beginning of the third millennium, the much older Asian culture is more alive and if the delusions of the day in the west is gone, than India just smiles and goes further in the treadmill of day and night, sowing and harvesting, life and death.
